With his previous experience, Dr. Daewon Yoon designed this camp uniquely with specific learning sessions in addition to video game time for kids to increase all the key beneficial factors mentioned above. The following sessions are learning sessions for the MWSU Esports camp: Fundamentals Learning for Game Development Software Streaming Techniques The Core Loop of Game Mechanics User Interface (UI) / User Experience (UX) / 2D & 3D Graphic Design for Games. Self-Defense (Experience of different realities – real life vs. virtual reality) Promoting self-confidence and physical capabilities in everyday life. For Esports tournament aspects, to develop competition skills with the dedication of Esports Director Chance, they will provide campers with a tournament to increase their competition experience. On the Final Day of Camp, the campers’ families are welcome to watch and cheer them on in our arena. Games include: Fortnite Rocket League Smash Bros Valorant Camp Highlights will Include: All campers will be rewarded with a certificate of camp completion Learn computer science-related subjects from university-level professors Increase competition skills from Esports Director Chance Mueller Development of valuable skills from Assistant Professor Dr. Daewon Yoon Experience the professionalism from Senior Director of Recreation Services Emily Ludwig Develop self-esteem and physical capabilities with Master Sim (Taekwondo Black Belt 7th Degree)
